Aquio (“we”) takes the protection of your personal information seriously. This policy explains what information we collect on aquio.ca, why we collect it and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

Information we collect
When you fill out the “Find a dealer” form, we collect:
- your name and email address;
- your phone number (optional);
- your city and postal code;
- the type and size of your pool, the model you are interested in and your message.
With your consent, we also collect certain browsing information through cookies. You can manage your choices at any time using the consent banner.
Why we use it
We use this information solely to refer you to an Aquio dealer near you. We do not sell it or use it for any other purpose without your consent.
Disclosure to third parties
With your consent, your contact information and pool details are sent to the Aquio dealer nearest you so they can get in touch with you. The dealer area forms (service call, claim, return authorization) are filled out by our dealers, who confirm they have the consent of the consumer concerned.
Your information may also be processed by our technical service providers, such as our web host, only to the extent necessary to operate the site. The site is hosted in Canada.
Retention and security
We keep your information for as long as needed to process your request, and then for no longer than [retention period]. We take reasonable measures to protect it against loss, unauthorized access and disclosure.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your personal information, have it corrected or withdraw your consent by writing to info@aquio.ca. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
